What is Prep? Prep is a tablet that when taken every day can help reduce the chances of HIV infection by up to 99%. It’s a tablet which contains two drugs – Emtricitabine as well as Tenofovir and when taken on a regular basis, this can help reduce the chances of HIV infection in people who are at high risk of becoming infected with HIV.
